Cascade HWY

Phil and I decided to take a mini trip before he goes out to sea again, so we decided to head up to Picture Lake and check on the wildflowers. Well, when we got there, everything was still escaping winter's grasp, so no wildflowers to report as of yet. We took the boys for a hike and they were in heaven. The next day we decided to head up to Diablo Lake in the Ross Lake Recreation Area, and that drive was stunning. The lake is amazing, photos just don't do it justice! I haven't been in that much awe of an area since Crater Lake! Well worth the drive, and the hiking is great too!
