Walking along the boardwalk, the wildflowers are in full bloom.

I came across this robin preening, and couldn't resist snapping off a few images.

It was the day of the small critters.

I found all of the nesting tree and cliff swallows along the barns, and most of the time they would dive bomb at me from their nests!

This series was taken in continuous fire as it happened in literally, the blink of an eye. I watched for the baby to open it's mouth wide, and would hold down the shutter to get the capture. I didn't even know what I caught until I checked the lcd screen! I planned on taking more, to tweak the focus, but a swarm of swallows flew in and dive bombed me like kamikaze pilots!! That was a sure sign it was time to move on!

I found this guy mutilating a worm on the way back to the trail. Happy robin babies awaited their meal!

At this point, all I could do was snap the shutter over and over again. The light and clouds were constantly changing and all you could do was spin in circles and take it all in, hoping not to miss a single second of it!! Enjoy!
